13th European meeting on ferroelectricity

The European Meeting on Ferroelectricity (EMF) will be held for the first time in its history in Porto, Portugal, in July 2015. This conference has encompassed fundamental studies of ferroelectric materials and related materials, tackling their applications in a wide range of advanced technologies, and exploring the frontiers at the very boundaries of this field.

The EMF 2015 conference program will include beyond straightforward matters, alike theory and modelling, ferroelectric basic properties and symmetry, domains and domain walls, relaxor behaviour and driven forces, latest research trends, as multiferroicity and magnetoelectricity, integrated ferroelectrics, low-scale, nano- and size effects, to mention only a few ones. Advances in innovative multifunctional applications of ferroelectric and related materials and in cutting-edge microscopic and macroscopic characterization will be embraced too.
